How the pricing differs
With a credit allowance, your plan decides how much you can generate each month. With FictionAI, the plan only decides how many books and series you can have. Every generation is billed by OpenRouter at its own prices, FictionAI adds no markup, and the workspace shows the estimated cost before you generate and the actual cost after.
Which is cheaper depends on how much you write and which model you use. A Fast-tier chapter costs a fraction of a Best-tier one. Compare against your own usage rather than a headline number.

Which supports NSFW content?
